3Comfy and clunky  Apr 12, 2008
These shoes are well made, cozy and really comfortable. I did order a size larger as recommended in some of the previous reviews and they are a wee bit big. They are also clunky and I have not had the success wearing these with skirts as one of the previous reviewers. I did get lots of comments about how clunky they looked though, perhaps this has more to do with this being a man's shoe and I am a woman than the actual clunkiness of the shoe. Overall they are comfortable and keep my feet happy.

2Looks good, but......  Feb 18, 2008
I really like the way it looks. But size is very big problem, it's small!!! And there is no warning about that on the information page of product!!!
Be careful if you wanna buy this, order bigger size!
I'll try to change it with bigger size, but it takes time...
I don't know...Good luck..

5THESE BOOTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN UNISEXED!!!  Jan 26, 2008
my best friend actually order these boots for her self, and she bragged on them so that i had to get me a pair, as their male boots even still they looks so cute on her she wore them with crops and skirts with leggins wow!! i thought they were female boots but she said she ordered from the male section of shoes she let me borrow them few times i could not beleive the warmth!! they gave me along with the koolest style actually these boots should have been made unisexed!!! and so comfy but i suggest u get them in a larger size than u usually wear because with the sheep wool lining they rather snug , but still so comfy u can wear them without socks but go up a size so that if u wanna wear socks u can... and also since there made of a tough cotton like canvas material she even washed them even more broke in and comfy!! now i have ordered me a pair and cant wait till they come....

4cool shoe  Jan 19, 2008
The Acorn Anorak shoe really was a hit for a gift at Christmas. The recipient put them on as soon as they were opened and thinks they are the greatest. Good quality and a great value

4size up!  Jan 12, 2008
Another site suggested to order up a full size because of the sheepskin lining. I'm usually between 8.5 and 9 so I got the 9. They're pretty snug with socks; I could have gone up to 10 with no problem, although I suspect the fur will pack down in time. Anyway I recommend you size on the big side, as much as a full size, or plan to wear them without socks. They're pretty compact looking shoes anyway.

They're pretty comfortable. Seem very well made. Waxed canvas is nice and you get a can of wax to refresh them with. Mine came in plastic bags that had promoted a little mildew growth. Closeouts after all, probably sitting in the warehouse a while. Gave them a shot of lysol, brushed them down, and they were fine.
