A little tight, but I'm giving it time Feb 24, 2008 These take awhile to fit. They are full of the lamb's wool on the inside, and wearing them is the only way to form them to your foot. I don't seem to be able to slide my foot in all the way easily, but I'm wearing them, hoping they will fit better to my foot over time. They already fit better than when I first got them. After reading another review, I decided to order one size bigger than I normally wear. I am so glad I did that. My regular size would not have fit. They are very warm and cozy, but I have to wear them in intervals, as the snugness on the top of my foot gets a little uncomfortable. Very nicely made!
very nice, even fashionable slippers! Feb 06, 2008 first of all, these slippers are really cute! i am a size 7 but bought a size 8 after reading reviews, and the 8 is perfect for me, however i think it makes it a little wider too so i slip left and right a little wearing these. the shearling is very luxurious, the only thing is that my foot seems to slip off the heal area easily, because it is so plush! i think it may take some time to pat down an area of the heal so that my feet slip less. i would advise to go a size up, because if you get your actual size your heal would hang over the edge a little, and be annoying.
love this slipper Feb 01, 2008 amazing arch support in this slipper, comfortable, cozy and so cute! I wear 7 1/2 so ordered an 8, perfect fit. Best of all, found this same shoe on other sites for 4 times the price here. Brand new as described, my favorite slipper ever!
Really cute and comfortable. Jan 30, 2008
I did find these slippers run a bit small, as another reviewer did. I bought my regular size, but they were a little too snug. So I bought the next size up, and gave the smaller slippers away. These slippers are cute, warm, and comfortable. My heels do tend to slide around somewhat, which is the reason I didn't give them five stars. But for $21.00, I am very satisfied!
not comfortable to walk in Dec 28, 2007 I've purchased several Acorn Women's slippers and I love them, but the sizing is not consistent. I ware a size 7 med width. A 7 usually fits perfectly and sometimes a medium width is a little wide, but very wearable. I got these slippers in a medium 6 1/2 to 7 1/2. I thought they would be perfect, but they are a little to short. The sole is molded so that it has raised heal in the center of the heal of the portion of the slipper. Because these are already a little short, I feel like that raised heal is about two inches to short. My daughter, trying to clean up the pre Christmas mess, tossed out the box or I'd have returned them. The front part of the slipper, that you foot slides into, is snug (and as I mentioned I have a medium to narrow foot). I'd think if you wear a size 6 these would be perfect, but these are definitely not made for someone who wears a size 7. Otherwise, they are well made. Not as soft as some of the Acorn slippers I've owned, but nice heavy slippers, not flimsy.
