This sportswear is comfortable and useful. It is water resistant and 3-in-1 clothes. However, it does not fit my size perfectly because at the size of mine has a little bit big. In short, it is still doing good for me right me right. Thanks.

This is a nice jacket for moderate cold. I would say temps over freezing. If its colder than that, stay indoors.

This Rocketsports Parka is replacing my Columbia Bugaboo Jacket that I've worn for several winters. I really liked the Bugaboo except for the fact that the fleece liner jacket easily collected dog hair (we have two yellow labs), and I didn't like to wear the liner on its own for that reason. The Rocketsports Parka is great, since the liner jacket is not fleece. I have worn the liner alone several times, and I love the look and comfort, and it doesn't collect the dog hair!
I wore both pieces of the Rocketsports Parka two weeks ago while we were skiing at Stowe, VT and stayed nice and warm and dry. I wore the outer layer for cross country skiing and it did a great job of keeping me warm without overheating me.
Overall, I love the Rocketsports Parka by Columbia. I would get one again and would recommend it to anyone needing a versatile jacket for cool to very cold weather activities.

This is the best coat for warmth and element protection I have ever owned. As others have pointed out, the removable liner makes this super-warm, and versatile. It's like having 4 coats in one. I bought this to keep warm during the winter months, whilst on the 'bike segment' of my work commute in DC. It does such a great job, I actually get hot on the bus if I leave it on. Come spring time, I will remove the liner, and use it as a raincoat/windbreaker. The sealed seams do an excellent job of keeping water and wind from penetrating. This would make a great ski coat as well. One other thing I love about it is the collar zips up fairly high, and it is actually rather comfortable to bury the lower part of your face in it. The fact that I got this coat for only $99 is just gravy...
Very warm Feb 21, 2008
This coat is extremely warm with its liner and seems like it'll stand up to New England winters with no problems. Too warm for me, actually - I've returned it because of that! I tend to just add layers in colder weather and don't want a coat that'll make me sweat when I have it on indoors (like at a mall). This is also a very heavy coat, although that's not a big deal when it's being worn. The only detail I didn't like was that while the hood is detachable but can't be tucked away into the collar.
