My 12 year old LOVES them!! Dec 02, 2008 I bought these for my youngest daughter who is 12. I'm glad I went with the Low Boot in lieu of the normal 10" boots. For a girl that is 4'10", they are more proportional.
She says they are ultra soft, warm, and comfortable. They were a hit with her friends as well.
I used some of that leather/suede protector spray, so I expect them to hold up to rain, snow, and wear.
Thanks Amazon for a great deal over the ultra expensive UGGs.

GREAT BOOT! Oct 30, 2008 This boot is awesome and a great buy at a good price. The picture does not do it justice the sole looks taller in the picture then it really is. Great for a male or female. Fast shipping!
make me laugh Oct 28, 2008 the only thing i can do when i see a pair of emus is laugh.. or cry, actually. emus are the ugliest boots i have evr seen and it is unfathomable to me how such monstrosoties became as popular as they are. they are merely knockoffs of Uggs, and poorly made ones at that. the sole of emus slant at the heel giving the impression that it has rubbed off- and indeed after just two weeks of wear, the sole actually did start wearing away noticeably. Not to mention that the fur lining is scratchy and uncomfortable whereas uggs are softer and warmer. And as for the price difference- its not even that great. emus can run up to 120 dollars, which is the same price a pair of Uggs can be bought for. i would give these 0 stars if i could. biggest waste of money imaginable.

EMU Bronti Boot - Not So Great Feb 22, 2008 This is the second pair of Emu Bronti boots that I have purchased for my daughter in the last 2 months. Each pair was worn for less than one month, and both came apart at soles. It looks like the sole is glued together and does not hold. I am done spending money on this product and my daughter has stopped asking for another pair because of the issue.

Not perfect but good for the price in comparison to Uggs. Jan 17, 2008 EMU Australia Unisex Bronti Low Boot
This boot feels just like an Ugg on the inside to me, but the outside (I bought them in black) attracts more dust/lint than Uggs do. The detailing isn't as well done and the sole definately isn't as good of quality as the Uggs I own are. I also don't love the way the sole of the shoe dips a little in the back. I have heard lately that the quality of Ugg boots has changed slightly in the last year and since mine are over a year old I can't say if that is true but since Emu's are really half the price of Uggs they will work for anyone on a budget. Unless you pick up your boot and stare at it, you won't find any faults in it.
The boots seem to run true to size to me. I think if you size down they'll be too small so you're better off having them just a tiny bit big in your real size.
