Order both the white and black ones Oct 19, 2008
I ordered 6 pack of the white ones and a 6 pack of the black ones. They were delivered to my door step within 2 days. I wear them with leather shoes so they're not the perfect and most convenient ones out there but seriously I have little to complain when I'm paying just three bucks per pair of socks (Including shipping and packaging) They were very well packed. The white ones I like slightly more but if you're barefoot you'd much rather be caught in the black ones cause the shade and design looks slightly better. It gives me so much pleasure in knowing that I won't have to endure with smelly socks and I will have 12 pairs to choose from. Because the fabric isn't cheese and polyster'ish - you can rest assured that these can be worn two times before you need to wash them. If you expect to play tennis in them, think again. I have opened only a pair of the whites and one pair of the blacks but I'm already washing them and I have 5 of each remaining.

These socks are another reason to love amazon. Thankyou for the reviews and product.

If the sox fit wear them Sep 05, 2008
This is one of many times I have purchased the golden toe with no problems and complete satisfaction.
I had to look all over to find a numbered size to order by. The sox I ordered were supposed to fall in the 12 to 16 size. Because of 2 big feet and medical needs this was important.They were tight. With the aid of a pair of scissors the sox now fit.
Estimated delivery time also went over by a day. From N.C. to GA. this should not have happened. Thanks

They're reasonably long (but not as long as the Gold Toe ones with a single gold stripe across the toe that I found at WalMart), comfortable, retain their color after many washings, BUT they fluff a LOT. I've had them for over a year and STILL get big chunks of fluff stuck under my toes and on the soles of my feet when I take them off at the end of the day. You would think they'd stop doing that after the first few washings, but no. I don't think I'd buy them again knowing this. But there's not many options if you want big & tall socks.

The product arrived in a timely fashion. I am pleased with the quality of the product. My only negative comment, is that I wish the heel of the sock was better protected. But they did last for a good amount of time.

OK for basketball however not enough cushioning on the bottom May 16, 2008
Due to a relative lack of cushioning on the bottom the sock is only OK for hoops. The large size is better than the head extra cushioning sock I normally use. Head sock has significantly more cushioning but is too small for my size 13 feet.
