Good looking shoe - but poor quality Apr 07, 2008
Part of the bottom of this shoe fell off within weeks of use. Returned to Amazon and they sent me a second pair - which also began to fall apart in the same area! I was surprised to have such defects in a well-known brand such as Helly Hanson!

Although potentially a very solid product and looks good too, the pads on the sole are stuck on, so they come unglued after some heavy use.

The width of the shoe is right on, meaning it's wider than adidas, and pretty much the same as Asics. It seems to be well built. I took one star off because I feel it can use a bit more cushion. I also think it can use better ventilation material. But for the price, it's a good buy.

They're light and comfortable. I use them as walking shoes, and they feel just fine after 1-hour walks.

Pieces falling off is not OK! Mar 05, 2008
OK, so pieces have actually fallen off of the bottom of one of the shoes. And now more pieces are loose on the other shoe. This is not OK, and I'm not quite sure why some of the reviewers are excusing it. Contacted the manufacturer (since it happened more than 30 days after shipment date) but no response yet... DON'T BUY THESE SHOES!!!
