I'm so glad that I got these and Amazon price was a steal. One major thing one notices even from the photos on line is that these are better made than a regular wellington/rubber boot - the soles are flexible enough to walk comfortably but yet stiff enough to step on rocks and push in a shovel with out risking foot damage. (I meant to put a set of high arch soles for added comfort but forgot and the sock seemed to be enough). A big plus - a more dress boot shape and a beautiful high end clear transparent coating one finds in the most expensive boots like Burberry or Pucci. It shows off the fabric underneath and gives it a jewel-like shine which also magnifies the crisp colors - I opted for the orange/peach/yellow combo, although will be also ordering the pink version. The only drawback is, as others mentioned, is that with out a little adjustable strap at the calf, Kamik opted for the more narrow calf opening and a slightly loose ankle area - sort of a happy medium. I ordered a size larger based on others' reviews, although my calf is fairly narrow and it was very comfortable. (Wore a thick sock for extra cushion and adjust the space).
Just wore them for the first time today while landscaping my yard on a 90+ degree Northern Virginia summer day. We are on a corner of an open street and having these on actually added to the fun of planting for what turned into a 20+ hour project over the week-end in a very high traffic area. Each time I looked down they made me smile and several people commented on how beautiful they were. (A five year old declared me 'extremely cool' which means quite a bit when one is over 40!). The sun was shining, sprinkler going, we were sweating like crazy, and there beautiful flowers and bright shrubs everywhere. I was covered in wet dirt and feeling rather invincible in my gardeners gloves and stylin' boots - really enjoying what could have been a tedious activity. (Actually, with a little trench coat and tights, these could be rather couture on a chilly Fall day, because they they look that high end). Kamik also makes kids boots in the same pattern, so if you have little gardners in the family they may make a nice reward for helping out Mom or Dad. I've own several great wellies, but these are now at the top of the list for this 'kid at heart' and will remind me not to take life too seriously each time I wear them. Get them and you won't be disappointed!

Very cute, lightweight boots. I ordered a size up after reading the reviews, and this feels like a good size. I normally wear a 6 1/2 to 7, and I ordered an 8. It leaves some room for my toes, if I want to wear thicker socks. I agree with other reviewers that the top part that goes around your calves does feel like a tighter fit then other boots do, but I managed to fit my jeans into them. Overall very happy with my purchase!

These are so much fun to wear when it's raining - they are a little snug, so maybe order a bigger size. They don't breathe at all, so can feel a little warm if you wear them all day.
On the whole, nice quirky pair of rain boots!

I like the way they look and how they are shaped nicely compared to a lot of other rainboots...but they hurt! particularly on the back of my heel and the top of my foot where they rub. Maybe there's a practical purpose for the shapelessness of other rainboots after all.

Bought 1/2 size larger than usual, and they fit like a glove with room for socks. I'll wear these cuties to protect my feet and ankles from snakes and wetlands as I hike through my own private forestland.
