Good quality boot Jan 26, 2010 I wear these boots for work (Highway Patrol). I have had them for 4 years and have been through 3 soles. The leather is excellent quality and is holding up well. The ability to create a mirror spit shine is easily done. The soles grip the ground and have never slipped in them. With proper treatment and care, these boots should last for years.
Very Nice boots Jan 18, 2010 These are very nice boots and everything was as advertised. I have spit shined them several times and they truly have a luster that will pass uniform inspection.
I have had a few complements on them when out in public.

Comfortable tough boots Jan 09, 2010 I bought a pair for use in office. No one noticed that they are actually roper boots as they look like normal footwear for formal occasions. They are tough for outdoor use too - I tested them on some rough tracks at home. Very comfortable on the feet even after extended use.

Airport Friendly Boot May 18, 2009 As an airline pilot these boots are the best. They do not set off the alarm in the walk thru X-Ray and they are durable enough to get 4 full years of use before leather fatigue. The soles have outlasted the boot leather sides.
