Way too short Sep 30, 2008
I had tried on these jeans in a department store so was sure of the fit. However, these size 12 arrived and were way too short. I am 5'5" and normally don't take a tall. Should be noted that these run short. The rest of the fit was perfect.

I haven't been so happy with a pair of jeans in years. The length is great. The fit is good. I could have ordered a size smaller and I will be buying another pair in teh smaller size. The tummy tuck does nothing but mabye in the smaller size it will help. they are soft and wear really well. I wouldn't have paid so much for jeans but I've been desperate for a pair that feels and fits better and I have found them. I would definately reccomend and buy again.

Best Jeans Ever, but Style Sizes Vary Sep 02, 2008
I have several pairs of these jeans and love how they fit. I usually buy style 400D. I find that they are true to size--you can't order 1 size smaller. My weight usually varies between 125 to 129 lbs. I order a size 12. I can wear a size 8 to 10 in department stores (since the industry has adjusted the stated size to make people feel better). When I ordered a different style of NYDJ jeans, I ordered size 12 and they were huge. Hope this helps!

I kind of blanched at the price ($88 at Nordstrom), but these jeans are worth every penny! I feel sexy in them! I, who have never felt attractive in jeans, let alone sexy in jeans! I'm 5'2 (117#) and wore these with 4" wedges, and I couldn't believe how good I looked. My fat thighs were slim and my backside was "lifted." (It was also interesting to see the world from a woman's normal height! I could look at the tops of my jars of spices in the kitchen cabinet!) The marketing ploy is that it makes you look one size smaller. I bought a 6. I'm really an 8 [pre-vanity sizing], so I imagine a 6 really is an 8. Semantics don't matter. Fit does. Check the zipper length in the front. It does vary. I loved mine so much I decided I'd better go back to get another pair before the style was discontinued. Alas, the other pairs I tried on had a zipper length 1/2" shorter and weren't comfortable. So, if you buy a couple of pairs at the same time (or later, as I did), compare zipper length if one seems more comfortable than the other/s. Honey, at least try these on! mb

This is my 3rd pair of NYDJ jeans, the 3rd different size ordered. This time I went 1 size less than I normally wear. I love the jeans; I think the 4% spandex does it but it does not make my tummy look any flatter. I'm not sure what the "X" does but there doesn't seem to any tighter fit in the tummy area than anywhere else. The rest of my body looks good in these jeans but I don't think I'll go for # 4.
