Comfortable with a great fit and support Jul 15, 2008 I had worn Saucony's before and loved them and now I'm back into running again and purchased this pair to run my first 5k one week prior to the event. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and felt the great cushioning system.
fit was awful for me Jun 16, 2008 I've always worn and loved Sauconys but this shoe was the exception. Just awful! From my first run, I had blister problems on both ankles, even after adjusting the laces. My forefoot on both feet went numb after 2 miles, and I hobbled at the end of my run. I figured that the shoes just needed some breaking in; I came back from my third run with blood all over my ankles from the intense rubbing, and my feet were numb all over. Perhaps if I bought a size larger, this may not have happened, but I think the recommendation should have been included that a buyer needs to buy a size or half size up or that they run small. I have used my old Sauconys since then and need to order another pair, but not this model. In short, very dissapointed!!
Saucony Women's Progrid Triumph 4 Jun 13, 2008 This particular shoe is my running shoe of choice. I was thrilled to find them online at Amazon for about $50 cheaper than normal price and they arrived very quickly. I will definitely continue to use this vendor for my future running shoes needs as long as they carry the Progrid Triumph 4!
Love these shoes! Jun 13, 2008 I fell in love with these running shoes. They are soooo comfortable and have a good amount of cushioning. Unfortunately I don't like the new Triumph 5 so I'm still looking to find these in my size. I highly recommend these (if you can still find them) for ladies who are larger than your average runner with a neutral stride.
Stiff Arches Mar 10, 2008 I found this show to run slightly large-I always buy Saucony and this 8.5 was a liitle big. Very cushioned, but I wouldnt recommend this shoe if you wear inserts too, with both the shoes support and my inserts, my arches hurt after 2 miles
I wouldnt buy this shoe again for that reason
