I was looking for a slipper than was substantial and actually big enough for my boyfriend's feet, and I found them! The solid rubber sole helps to elevate the feet off the ground and keep your feet warmer, and also the inside is lined with some kind of plush fabric. If you are susceptible to cold feet in the house, you ought to try these! They're well worth it. Also, they're solid enough to handle a trek to the mailbox.

Excellent slippers - better than the Dearfoams you get at Christmas Dec 21, 2008
These are my second pair of slippers, and they are excellent. My first pair lasted about a year before I replaced them with this pair. They are "furrier" inside than Dearfoams, which I like. Good value for the money.

I bought these slippers for my boyfriend who went in the hospital for knee surgery. He's a big guy, 6'6", 250#. These are great for hobbling around the house while he's recuperating. They have a neoprene sole so he can go outside. They're very soft. If you need a 'structured' slipper, try another. These are corduroy tops so they don't hold your foot securely. But, my boyfriend loves the comfort and warmth.

I bought this slippers for a friend. His feet are always cold, and I thought with the insulation they would keep his feet warm...and they did! They are made very well and fit true to size. I personally don't like my feet that warm, so I wouldn't buy them for me. But they are very comfortable! I would purchase again as a gift.
