 Poor Sizing Apr 08, 2008
I bought these boots for my wife. I have always had a good expereince with Sorel products. They have protected my feet in the winter for the last 40 years. My wife liked the styling of the boot. BUT she could not get the boot on. I had deliberately bought the boot a size larger that she normally wears. She could not get the boot past her ankle. I would guess that the boot is at least 4 sizes smaller than marked.
I will say the refund process went very well.

These boots are great! My feet stayed warm and dry standing in snow. When it was 42* out my feet were so warm that I took my socks off! The boots did the job that I wanted them too do.

I recently purchased the lovely "boots with the fur" SOREL Women's Northern Lite Zip winter boots.
I LOVE these boots!!!! They are warm, waterproof and they look feminine and cute too.
I would buy another pair, and from the same seller, tomorrow...if I wanted to be homeless with my new cute boots! ; )

Not as small as everyone says Mar 14, 2008
Based on everyone's reviews I ordered a size larger- I'm an 8 and ordered a 9. They are really too big but I'll just "make do" since we live in San Diego and I'll hardly ever need them. I'll just wear extra socks to fill up the space. An 8.5 might have been plenty.

For the price, it's a good deal. The zipper keeps coming down so I ended up leaving it unzipped, which is okay if you're wearing a good gaiter. It still kept my feet warm and dry. The size does run small. I normally wear size 6, but ordered size 7; it fit as if it was a size 6. The boot is also kind of heavy.
